Agriculture and empolyment

Agriculture undoubtedly offers vast opportunities to educated Indians when the so called learned professionals are owercrowded. But the pitty is that even the agricultural graduates are after government service. Our public men should strive to divert a certain proportion of these persons from law and medicine to agriculture. The Swarajists insted of creating discontent among the rural population should follow thw policy chalked out by the officers concerned.

മനസെന്ടഎ ചപലത

കയ്യില് സിഗരട്ടിന്ടെ പുകച്ചുരുളുമായി ഒരച്ചന്‍ മകനെ മടിയിലിരുത്തി ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു "മകനേ നീ വലുതാകുമ്പോള്‍ നല്ലകുട്ടിയാകണം".എന്തൊരു വിരോധാഭാസമെന്നു പലര്‍ക്കും തോന്നാം . പക്ഷെ അതിനേക്കാള്‍ രസകരമല്ലേ കോളേജിലെ കുട്ടികളുടെ മനസിന്റെ ചപലത .അപേക്ഷകള്‍ നൂറെണ്ണം അയച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാലും പുതിയൊരു പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ പുതിയൊരു അപേക്ഷക്കായി കടലാസ് തിരയുന്നു .ചിരിക്കാതെ വയ്യ .എന്നിരുന്നാലും സാധാരണ പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ എന്താ മോശമാണോ ? തിരക്കുള്ള ബസില്‍ അവര് ഒരു സീറ്റിനായി കൊതിക്കുന്നു . എന്നാല് തിരക്കൊഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ കിട്ടിയ സീറ്റും പോരാതെ വേറൊരു സ്വസ്ഥമായ സീറ്റ് തേടി അലയുന്നു . എത്ര കിട്ടിയാലും പോരാത്ത മനുഷ്യ മനസിന്റെ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങള്‍ എവിടെ ഒതുങ്ങുന്നതാണോ? ? ചെറിയ ചെറിയ നിരീക്ഷണങ്ങളിലൂടെ ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഇത്തരം രസകരങ്ങളായ അനുഭവങ്ങള്‍ ഇനിയും ഉണ്ടാകും .പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുക.

അമൃതമയം ....

ലോകസഭ ഇലക്ഷന്‍ സമയത്ത് അമൃത ടീ വീ യുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് ജോലി ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിചു... എന്റെ മറക്കാനാവാത്ത അനുഭവമായത് കൊണ്ട്‌ അതിനെ പറ്റി ഇവിടെ പരാമര്‍ശിക്കാതെ വയ്യ..കാരണം എന്റെ വികാരങ്ങള്‍ തുളുമ്പുന്ന ഒന്നാണല്ലോ ഈ ബ്ലോഗ് ..ഒരു ജേര്‍ണലിസം വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥി എന്നത് കൊണ്ട്‌ തന്നെ അവരോടൊപ്പം പ്രവത്തിക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചത്‌ എന്റെ വലിയൊരു ഭാഗ്യമായി ഞാന്‍ കരുതുന്നു..ഇനിയും എങ്ങനെയുള്ള അവസരങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ തേടി വരാന്‍ ഈശ്വരന്‍ കനിയട്ടെ എന്ന് മാത്രം പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നു....

Town and Country life

The most important thing that a person, while travelling from a town to the country marks is the diffrence in manners between the people. No doubt several civilities and ceremonies were first cultivated by the citizens and the courtiers who distinguished themselves in that respect from the unpolished village dwellers. Gradually these formalities multiplied and some of them had to be shunned off by citizens to free themselves from troubled ones. At present a certain candour and freedom from formalities constitute marks of refinement in the city. In the country however the modes of last age, extra courteouness predominate.

Useful and useless work

The dilapidated cottage in a country side was inhabited by a family all of whom, except the father were healthy. The father was ill owing to exposure at workand in the draughty cottage partly repaired and their meals improved, was cheerfully welcomed until one year, passing with a skilled joiner, he learned that father and mother died of illness and grief respectively. His friend had been for two months elaborately fitting the penels of one door in london, but had he occupied at an opportune time, three days of that period on the cottage, the parents would not have died.

depression and april fool

The whole world is discussing about economic recession and its impact. I never thought it would be this severe. Yesterday i felt the impact of this monster. All these years i was made fool on this particular day, (only for this day )- April 1. But things are different the other days...... This year also i was waiting to be made a fool, but nothing happened. I mulled over to find the reason. The culprit was the economic depression. Not even a single call on this day, economic depression has affected even April Fool.... how to bail out from this... that needs serious discussions.

സ്വര്‍ണം ആര്‍ക്കു വേണം ? ? വേണ്ട എനുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ഇത് വായിക്കാം

സ്വര്‍ണ വില കുത്തനെ ഉയരുമ്പോള്‍ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ദുരിതം അനുഭവികുന്നത് ആരാണ് ?അച്ഛനും അമ്മയും ആകാം എന്നാല്‍ പെണ്‍കുട്ടികളും ആയി കൂടെ ?എന്‍റെ ചിന്ത വേറൊരു രീതിയില്‍ ആണ് അതിന് ഞാന്‍ വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവും തരാം.
സ്വര്‍ണ വിലകൂടുന്നത് കൊണ്ടു ഇരുപതു വയസാകുമ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ പെണ്പില്ലെരെ കല്യാണം കഴിച്ചു അയക്കുന്നു.വീട്ടുകാര്‍ക്കറിയാം ഇനി എന്തായാലും സ്വര്‍ണത്തിന്റെ വില കൂടുകയല്ലാതെ കുറയില്ലെന്ന്.ഇപ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ കുടുംബം വിറ്റാണ് ഓരോരുത്തരും പെണ്‍ മക്കളെ കെട്ടിച്ചയക്കുന്നത്.ഇനിയും പെണ്പില്ലെരെ വീട്ടില്‍ വാചോണ്ടിരുന്നാല്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാ . അതുകൊണ്ടാണ്‌ ഇന്നത്തെ പെണ്‍ കുട്ടികളുടെ ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനു തടസം നില്ക്കുന്ന വിലങ്ങു തടിയാണ് സ്വര്‍ണം എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞത് . ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ സ്വര്‍ണം നമുക്കു നിര്‍ത്തലാക്കാന്‍ നിയമം കൊണ്ടു വരാം .അപ്പോള്‍ എന്നെ പോലുള്ള പെണ്‍ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് പഠിക്കാനും പറ്റും വീട്ടുകാര്‍ക്കും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാകില്ല . മാത്രമല്ല സ്വര്‍ണ വില ഇങ്ങനെ കൂടുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ പെണ്‍ ഭ്രൂണഹത്യകള്‍ ഇനിയും കൂടാന്‍ ഇടയുണ്ട് .അതുകൊണ്ട് സ്വര്‍ണമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു നാളെയെ കുറിച്ചു നമുക്കു ചിന്തിക്കാം .
